My name is Mo Hicks, founder of MH Stock Reports. I started getting over 50% returns on some of my stock investments almost 30 years ago. Some returned over 400% in 2 to 5 years. But none of this happened until I changed the way I invested. That I owe to the writings of and readings about Warren Buffett.

I was self-employed and needed to save for retirement. I read many books on different ways to invest. Some investment strategies worked during certain market conditions. None were consistent. Lots of focus was on the stock market behavior. Professionals spoke constantly about where the market was going. The conversations were useless. No one knew then or now.

Then I heard Charlie Munger and Warren Buffett talk about investing. Everything they said made sense to me. I read books on how Warren Buffett invests. I tried his method and it worked. That was almost 30 years ago. I rarely watch the stock market unless there is news I could use. I read annual reports and newspapers. I avoid the constant noise of where the market is going. Instead, I focus on the fundamentals of the companies I research. Because they will determine a company’s value.
